Our dedicated staff have over 20 years of joint experience in safety education with proven track record.

Name: Mr.Muteza Ali 

Position: CEO (Chief Executive Officer)

'RSI Uganda'

 

Muteza contributes to RSI’s day-to-day running of the Organisational activities which he has at heart. He advises the Organisation on all matters related to risk management on Road Safety, Traffic Congestion, safety and health that we encounter in our daily life. 

 

He writes training manuals and manages RSI’s website which is the resource centre for the training team Nation-wide and the general public. This enables communities at various levels to access information paramount in managing Road Safety risks that we encounter in Uganda. 

 

Muteza was for 2 years trained in Road Safety and Urban Traffic Congestion Management in Great Britain (London).

Lead by example, Muteza has steered the organisation to recognition as a dependable, service provider with a diverse impression; having previously held senior roles including being Director in Dream and Vision Ltd.

Mr.Muteza is a professional Account and computer literate.  

 

Name: Kasaga Miriam

 

Position: Profesional Lawyer and Road Safety Activists 

Many small to medium organisations cannot afford to employ a full-time health and safety manager or advisor. Kasaga Miriam is a magistrate employed by Government and she works with RSI on part-time.

Kasga Miriam is a highly-experienced advocate and consultant. She delivers consultancy solutions to all types of individuals and organisations.

 

Her status and credibility enables accident victims to seek legal redress. Her combined experience, qualifications and teaching skills have earned her the reputation for excellence and a loyal client base.

 

Nanteza Shamim 

Founder member, student of information technology at Kampala University.

Her contribution is to:

 

Establish, developing and disseminating best practices in driving and riding on the road; before people start to drive and after they pass their test;  

Ensuring high standards of instruction for different types of drivers and riders; 

Conducting the theory and practical tests efficiently, fairly and consistently across the country; 

Providing centre of excellence for driver and rider training and driving standards to willing learners.  

 

At the moment Theory and Hazard Perception tests are not mandatory in Uganda. 

Name: Nakawuki Fat

Position: Secretary - 'RSI Uganda'.

RSI honours Nakawuki Fat for her dedication to 'RSI' and the construction of the Organisation from the beging.

She has sacrificed her well paid-job to volunteering in a non-profit Organisation for the good of others. Nakawuki Fat is an accountant by profession.

Name: Mr.Mwambu Allan

 

Position: RSI - Chief Coordinator

Duties:

  • Attending corporate meetings;

  • Coordinating meetings;

  • Creating RSI management calendar;

  • Developing project strategies and;

  • Administrative duties

Name: Mr.Senkayi Haruna 

Senkayi Haruna joined 'RSI' in 2012. His vigorous and imaginative approach to health and safety management, led by the self-motivated commitment, enthusiastic workforce and involvement at every level, has contributed highly to road safety initiatives.

 

Senkayi has displayed innovative approaches to the periodic monitoring and review of RSI’s health and safety performance. 

 

In addition to a strong focus on training and site briefing, he has developed a powerful focus on dynamic risk assessment having been a motor rally champion in Uganda.

RSI encourages student participation in risk management. This builds a better chance that the young generation shapes their own future.

She has led several road safety videos; films and drams encouraging student to take road Safety as a seroius concern...... 

We recognise, we do not act alone. There are many members of Road Safety Initiative - Uganda, Road Safety professionals and Industry representatives that play an increasingly important role in helping RSI to succeed in the implementation and delivery of road safety initiatives.
